Daily train launched from Dandong to Pyongyang

The international passenger train from Dandong to Pyongyang started running daily services on Jan 1, the Shenyang railway bureau said.
Previously, the train ran every other day.
With two carriages, the train departs from Dandong at 10 am and reaches Pyongyang at 3:30 pm.
Dandong, Liaoning province, located on the border with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, which is marked by the Yalu River, is the biggest border city in China.
The first train between the city and the DPRK was launched in 1954.
