Of the 46 people killed in a huge landslide in Southwest China's Yunnan province, 29 were from the same clan, Beijing News reported on Monday.
The clan of 32 has only three survivors, who were working outside the county when the landslide devastated their village in Zhenxiong county on Friday morning.
Villager Luo Yuanju and her husband were working away from home, as was a cousin of her husband. But all other family members were buried under the mud, including Luo's three children.
