Liu Yunshan attends Party School graduation ceremony

BEIJING - Chinese leader Liu Yunshan attended a graduation ceremony held by the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on Tuesday.

Liu, president of the CPC's top Party school and a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, awarded certificates to representatives of 604 officials who completed the school's 2012 autumn semester.

Li Jingtian, the school's executive vice president, called on the graduates to deepen their study and implement the essence of the 18th CPC National Congress, as well as maintain their adherence to hard and practical work to make the nation thrive.

Li also told officials to carefully observe regulations to cut extravagance and bureaucracy and keep close ties with the public.

Other senior officials, including Zhao Leji, Li Zhanshu and Zhao Hongzhu, members of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, were at the ceremony.

Graduates said that their studies have helped them to better understand the Party congress spirit and improved their theoretical knowledge, leadership and ideological realm.
