An 89-year-old woman in Tianjin was rescued by firefighters after becoming stuck in guard rails when cleaning windows.
A local information portal reported that the woman, who lives on the third floor, went out to clean the windows on Sunday.
She suddenly slipped and became stuck between an outdoor air conditioner and protective guard rails.
Police arrived after receiving emergency calls from neighbors but rescuers could not gain access, as the door to her apartment was locked.
Firefighters climbed over a neighbor's balcony to reach the protective railings, cutting through them with an electronic cutter before breaking into the apartment and rescuing the woman.
