Li Bin reelected governor of Anhui province

HEFEI - Li Bin was reelected governor of East China's Anhui province Monday at the first session of the 12th Anhui Provincial People's Congress, the provincial legislative body.
Li, born in October 1954, was appointed Anhui's vice-governor and acting governor in December 2011 and elected governor of the province in February 2012.
Li, a native of Fushun in Northeast China's Liaoning Province, served as vice-governor of Jilin province from 2001 to 2007.
She also served as vice-minister and minister of the National Population and Family Planning Commission from 2007 to 2011.
At the same session, Zhang Baoshun, secretary of Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, was elected chairman of the Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial People's Congress.
