Several residential buildings are isolated by ditches at a construction site in Yangqi village of Guangzhou city, South China's Guangdong province on Feb 6, 2013. Six or seven families still live inside, as they are refusing to move out due to dissatisfaction with the compensation for relocation, unlike the other villagers who have signed the relocation agreements and are waiting for the restart of construction, which has been suspended for more than two years. To force the residents to move out, some residents dug the ditches around the buildings. [Photo by Liu Jiao/Asianewsphoto] |
