China's parliament to hold closing meeting

BEIJING - The first session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) is to hold its last meeting at 9:00 am Sunday.
President Xi Jinping and NPC Standing Committee Chairman Zhang Dejiang are scheduled to address the closing meeting.
Lawmakers will vote on the government work report, and the work reports of the 11th NPC Standing Committee, the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
They will also vote on the reports on the national economic and social development plan as well as the central and local budgets.
