Former official charged of molesting underage boys

Li Jun, a former official of the civil affairs bureau of Guangzhou in Guangdong province, was charged on March 18 of allegedly molesting underage boys.
Li allegedly got in touch with the boys through QQ, a popular Chinese instant messaging application, lured them to his apartment, molested them and gave them money afterward, according to the people’s procuratorate of Liwan district in Guangzhou.
The cases happened between September 2011 and June 2012.
One of the victims and his family reported the case to the police in June 2012. Li was arrested in August 2012.
