Tianjin center to cater for Alzheimer's patients

Tianjin's first rehabilitation center for elderly people with Alzheimer's disease will begin operation by the end of June, a local information portal has reported.
The report said the rehabilitation center under the civil affairs bureau, will be equipped to host 300 people, and is specially designed for Alzheimer's patients. It will deliver daily nursing, rehabilitation aids, medical services and palliative care.
An estimated 160,000 people aged 60 or above in Tianjin suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, the report said.
