Young fashion designers from China, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Canada have gathered in Beijing to exchange ideas on fashion concepts.
The 14 designers began working together at the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology on Friday.
During the 15-day workshop, they will be under the guidance of Tom Göbels, a Belgian fashion designer living in Shanghai.
The workshop has been launched to allow French-speaking designers to get to know each another better and to create work based on a mutual appreciation of cultural differences.
The designers will unveil their creations and collaborated work to the public on March 29. The designs will reflect the fusion of Chinese and Francophone culture.
