Shanghai to further curb car plate prices

Shanghai plans to release more measures to curb rocketing car number plate prices.
New measures being considered include reserving new car plates for new cars only and organizing separate auctions for individual and corporate participants.
These policies will be announced soon, according to Shanghai municipal transport and port authority.
Xu Yan, who has connection in the city's vehicle administrative office, told China Daily it is fairer to separate the private and corporate bidding system.
