3 dead, 1 injured in house demolition

NANJING - Three villagers died and another was injured on Wednesday as a result of an accident that occurred while they were demolishing a house in a rural area of East China's Jiangsu province.
The accident occurred around 9 am, when the roof of the house collapsed during the demolition in Tuotou village, Chunxi township, located in the Gaochun district of the provincial capital Nanjing, said a spokesman with the district government.
Of the four casualties, three died in hospital. The other injured person is still being treated, said the spokesman.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is under way.
