156 judges die on duty over last 5 years

BEIJING - A total of 156 judges died while on duty from 2008 to 2012, according to a Wednesday statement from the Supreme People's Court (SPC).
The majority of the judges died due to disease, the statement said.
Since October 2006, the SPC and relevant departments have jointly allocated subsidies to the relatives of judges who die on duty.
