Wenzhou official dies after being disciplined

An official from a State-owned enterprise in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, died accidentally while in the shuanggui process in the morning of April 9, according to the People's Procuratorate of Wenzhou.
Shuanggui is a procedure in which Party and government officials are asked to confess to wrongdoings at stipulated times and places for serious violations of Party discipline and State laws.
Yu Qiyi, born in 1971, the chief engineer and the Party member of Wenzhou Industry Investment Group was being investigated by the city's commission for discipline inspection on Monday night and suffered an accident. He died after being sent to the hospital.
An investigation team was set up to examine the case and further details will be released soon.
