BEIJING - China's top procuratorial organ on Friday demanded local organs investigate cases of official corruption in a determined manner and brave any obstacles.
In a teleconference, the Supreme People's Procuratorate said efforts should be focused on cracking major cases that carry high significance for the country's corruption fight.
Local procuratorial organs have been urged to target those areas and aspects most prone to embezzlement and bribery, including construction projects, and thoroughly investigate those corruption chains, according to a statement on the meeting.
It said they should actively collect and check clues, including paying more attention to information exposed via online scrutiny.
