NW China road accident kills 6

URUMQI - Six were killed and another one injured in an auto accident that occurred Sunday in the Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Bortala in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, according to local authorities.
A heavy truck rear-ended a pickup truck at around 10 am on a section of highway that links the city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province and Khorgos in Xinjiang, killing six people in the pickup truck, the prefectural information office said.
The injured person has been sent to the hospital.
The accident is under investigation.
