Mine accident kills 7 in central China

CHANGSHA - Seven miners were confirmed dead in a coal and gas outburst that happened in a colliery in Central China's Hunan province late Sunday, the local government said on Monday.
The accident occurred around 8:10 pm in Gaoyan coal mine, Xiangmei township of Yongxing county.
An investigation into the accident is under way.
