Four school pupils drown in Central China

CHANGSHA - Four school pupils drowned on Sunday afternoon in Xiangxiang City in central China's Hunan Province, local authorities confirmed on Monday.
At around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, four girls of Yuduan Township Daqiao School drowned in a river while they were swimming after finishing their mid-term examinations, the Xiangxiang City government press office said.
Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
