Wu Songtao, a college student from Zhejiang province tries to earn some extra money by distributing leaflets in Hefei, East China's Anhui province, July 19, 2013. Wu and his six schoolmates came to Hefei on July 11 and plan to live in the city for 15 days with only 700 yuan ($114) to survive. "We don't know anybody here and will live by ourselves," said Xu Zedi, head of the team. They arrived at Hefei on July 10 and rented a small room in a market with 500 yuan. During job hunting they were turned down by many places including hotels, restaurants and bars as they can only work for 15 days. On day three they found a job spreading real estate leaflets with a pay of 60 yuan each people a day. They walked as much as possible to save transportation expenses and only had two meals a day. As of July 20 they had earned 1,800 yuan and spent 1,241 yuan. "We are doing better after all the hard work and refusals," one said. [Photo/Xinhua]
