Police detain suspects over bomb threats

Two men suspected of making false bomb threats have been detained, Beijing police said on Monday.
The first threat was issued about 9:50 pm on Saturday and the caller said he planned to detonate explosives at the airport.
Within two hours, the police arrested a 39-year-old man, surnamed Wang, at his home in the city's Miyun county.
Wang allegedly made the call after drinking alcohol and to vent his anger over a land dispute, police said.
Another suspect, surnamed Liu, 31, allegedly called police at 10:48 pm on Saturday and threatened to blow up a game bar in Guangqumen, Dongcheng district.
He was detained on Sunday's morning.
Liu, from Jiangsu province, allegedly confessed that he too and drunk too much alcohol.
