Police conduct raids in counterfeit crackdown

Police in the Baiyun district of Guangzhou, Guangdong province, raided five locations, including two residences, suspected of being used for the sale of fake brand-name bags and watches.
Three suspects were detained in the crackdown, which took place in cooperation with police from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces and Shanghai, Baiyun police announced on Monday, Yangcheng Evening News reported.
The goods seized valued more than 80 million yuan ($13.02 million).
