More relief materials sent to China quake zone

BEIJING - The Ministry of Civil Affairs dispatched more tents and quilts to the quake zone of Northwest China's Gansu province on Tuesday evening.
The fresh batch of relief materials included 20,000 tents, 30,000 cotton quilts and 10,000 folding beds, according to a statement released by the ministry on Wednesday.
A 6.6-magnitude quake jolted the juncture of Minxian and Zhangxian counties in the city of Dingxi at 7:45 am Monday, leaving at least 95 people dead as of Tuesday evening.
Including the relief materials sent on Tuesday, the ministry has provided some 30,000 tents, 60,000 cotton quilts, 15,000 folding beds and 10,000 sleeping bags to the area.
