'Fast & Furious 6' rules China's box office

BEIJING - Action sequel "Fast & Furious 6" led China's box office charts in the week ended July 28, raking in 156.9 million yuan ($25.6 million).
The much-anticipated blockbuster, starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, took in 100 million yuan in the two days following its July 26 debut.
Action film "White House Down," starring Channing Tatum and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, came in second with 120.3 million yuan, China Film News reported Tuesday.
"Mr. Go," a film about a Chinese girl's adventure with a gorilla in a professional baseball league in the Republic of Korea, ranked the third, making 38 million yuan in the week.
Horror film "Bunshinsaba 2," arrived in fourth place, earning 23 million yuan.
Sci-fi adventure "After Earth," which stars father and son duo Will and Jaden Smith, rounded up the top five, making 20 million yuan.
