Chinese foreign minister to visit Southeast Asia

BEIJING - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend a high level forum between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Thailand and pay official visits to Malaysia, Laos and Vietnam from August 1 to 6.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei made the announcement on Tuesday.
Wang was invited by Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul, Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman, Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Thongloun Sisoulith and Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, Hong said in a written press release.
