Drug suspect killed in Chengdu gunfight

A gunfight between police and suspected drug dealers left one man dead and injured a police officer in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in a residential quarter in the Chenghua district of Chengdu at about noon.
After firing shots, four suspects started to set fire to residential buildings.
One suspect was killed and police captured another two. A police officer was injured in the exchange of gunfire.
One suspect fled the scene.
Witnesses said police fired tear gas.
