Construction site accident kills 4 in NW China

XI'AN - High winds brought by a sudden thunderstorm resulted in the deaths of four people Thursday morning in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, local authorities said.
Around 1:30 am, a tower crane at a construction site in the Baqiao district of the city of Xi'an fell on a worker dormitory due to strong winds, the municipal government said.
Four people were killed and another four were injured.
The injured have been taken to a local hospital.
The high winds also knocked down several trees, as well as cut off power in some areas.
