Melon farmer dies from blow to head

An autopsy has found that the death of a melon farmer in Hunan province who died in a conflict with urban management officers, or chengguan, was due to external force, Xinhuanet.com reported on Aug 1.
The external force broke a vessel in the farmer's brain, Hunan police said in a statement.
Deng Zhengjia, 56, died after a conflict with the officers in Linwu county. Deng's family and witnesses claimed that officers hit him in the head with a weight.
