Man quits job to take up welding

A man in Shandong province quit his white-collar job and enrolled in a vocational school to learn welding, according to Qilu Evening News.
Li Qiang, 34, who has a master's degree in literature, had worked as a newspaper reporter and at a school.
He said that he was unable to support his family on his current monthly salary of 3,000 yuan ($489) to 4,000 yuan.
