Militia soldiers control forest fire in Hunan

Smoke billows in the distance as more than 200 trained volunteer soldiers try to extinguish a forest fire at Mazichong Mountain in Shuangfeng county, Hunan province on Aug 5, 2013. The forest fire broke out around 12 am, Aug 4 because of a short- circuit when villagers pumped water to help with the drought. The fire was under control at 11 pm on Aug 5.
