Police find 2.5 kg of meth in truck

Hefei police seized more than 2.5 kg of methamphetamine hidden among 3,500 kg of litchis in a truck, the Xin'an Evening News reported on Aug 12.
Police made the seizure after an investigation of more than six months. As of Aug 6, police had arrested 16 people allegedly involved in the drug trafficking.
The 2.516 kg of drugs were sent by a man identified as A Jie to Hefei, the capital city of Anhui province, from Lufeng, Guangdong province, where drugs have been extensively made and traded.
Police seized the truck at a food market in Hefei at about 2 pm on July 4.
