A girl whose leg was trapped under the wheels of a 40-metric-ton trailer is still being hospitalized for her injuries, people.com.cn reported on Tuesday.
The 11-year-old was injured in Anyang, Henan province, at about 7:25 am on Aug 9. The girl reportedly appeared surprisingly calm when she was waiting for firefighters and emergency medical staff despite the fact that her right leg had been stuck under a wheel of the 40-ton trailer.
Doctors said the girl's leg had been so severely damaged that it has to be amputated. It is uncertain what caused the accident.
