Chinese premier to attend China-ASEAN expo

BEIJING - Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will attend the annual expo, business and investment summit between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Foreign Ministry Spokesman Qin Gang said Wednesday.
The 10th China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit will be held from Sept 3 to Sept 6 in Nanning, capital of Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Qin said.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, China-ASEAN trade topped $210 billion in the first half of this year, growing 12.2 percent year on year.
By the end of June, Chinese direct investment in ASEAN totaled nearly $30 billion, and direct investment from the ASEAN in China exceeded $80 billion.
