A police officer in Haikou, capital of Hainan province, apparently tore up a parking ticket but his actions were photographed and posted online.

According to people.com.cn, a resident, identified as Dun Wu online, posted a micro blog, with photos, on Thursday.

The post said that Dun Wu saw a police officer on Wednesday put a ticket on the window of a car where parking was prohibited.

A few minutes later a man in police uniform arrived at the scene, saw the ticket and tore it up before getting in the car and driving away.
