A landlord found over 6 million yuan in cash in a vacant apartment in Dongguan, Guangdong province, Southern Metropolis Daily reported.

The money was probably left behind by the last tenant, a man from Jieyang who moved out without informing the landlord. The police have opened an investigation and the money was deposited in a bank.
