A combined reward of 1.38 million yuan ($226,000) for the capture of 59 drug crime fugitives was offered by the Guangdong provincial department of public security on Sunday.
People with information leading to the arrest of the fugitives before Aug 1, 2014, will be eligible.
The reward, the largest in recent times, is broken down into 30,000 yuan each for 20 of the 59 suspects and 20,000 yuan each for the rest, according to Guangzhou Daily.
The fugitives are from Lufeng city in Guangdong and 40 come from the Jiaxi town area of the city. The youngest is an 18-year-old suspected of making drugs.
Guo Shaobo, deputy head of the Guangdong public security department, said more than 30 percent of methamphetamine in the country, better known as "ice", is produced by gangs in Lufeng.
More than 20 percent of ketamine, a psychedelic drug, is made in Huizhou city in Guangdong.
