Pigs that escaped from a truck that overturned on a highway in Hubei province impeded traffic for almost five hours, Wuhan Evening Post reported.
The truck burst a tire and overturned when it was transporting about 40 pigs around 9 am on Suiyue Highway. Two pigs were killed and another six injured, and the remaining pigs escaped from the truck and spread across the highway.
Police had to start traffic control until four pig dealers they asked to catch the animals had them all under control at 1:40 pm.
