The 15th China Mining Congress and Expo will be held from Nov 2 to 5 in Tianjin to strengthen international cooperation in the mining industry.
The theme of this year's event is "opportunity, challenge and development", with more than 4,000 delegates from over 40 countries including Australia, Canada and India registered to attend the exhibition and forums.
Besides 36 forums such as one on shale gas, a 26,000-square-meter exhibition will be held at the same time to display advanced mining equipment from China and other countries.
The China Mining Congress and Expo has been an annual event since 2005 held jointly by the Ministry of Land and Resources and the Tianjin government.
