Diehard fans of Taiwan Beef Noodles can relish the delicious dish at the Regent Beijing as the hotel's Cafe 99 is offering two kinds of award-winning noodles until Sunday.
In the Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival in 2012, Regent Taipei's chef Zhang Jin'an's Beef Shank and Assorted Mushrooms Noodle Soup, with Western herbs, won top prize in the Clear Broth Division. In the Braised Dish Division, chef Cai Shirong won second prize for his traditional Braised Beef Noodle.
Guests can sample the noodles in an elegant white porcelain pot, an ancient cooking vessel with two loop handles and three legs, a serving method that enhances the flavor.
