Southern province welcomes holiday season

Hainan province is welcoming the holiday season with tropical zeal.
The southern province will start its fourteenth annual carnival on Dec 29 with various activities for tourists from across the world.
There will be an Art Sanya Cultural Festival, musicals with touches of magic from Las Vegas, artistic visual exhibitions, food fests and movie-themed tailor-made travel routes, among other attractions.
To herald in the festivity, the province's residents will have Dec 30 off to celebrate.
