Woman collapses, dies, after Suzhou marathon

A woman fainted during the Suzhou annual half marathon and died later in hospital on Sunday, chinanews.com reported.
The Chinese woman, 25, collapsed after she had run 18 kilometers. She was revived by cardiopulmonary resuscitation but later died in a nearby hospital where she was taken for treatment.
During the marathon, 13 people were sent to hospitals for treatment. More than 20,000 competitors from 30 countries and regions took part in the race.
