Three suspects have been detained over an accident in which one person was killed and five injured, New Express reported on Monday.
The accident occurred early in the morning on Saturday while a tank truck that had illegally transported methanol was unloading in front of a rebuilding store in Tianhe district in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.
The methanol leaked and caused a fire, killing one person and injuring five others.
After investigation, police detained Huang, 52, the store owner, Long, 25, the truck driver, and Cai, 62, the store manager, as suspects. The case is under further investigation.
