Mainland's Taiwan affairs chief arrives in Taiwan

TAIPEI -- Zhang Zhijun, Chinese mainland chief of Taiwan affairs, has arrived at Taoyuan International Airport on Wednesday noon for a four-day visit.
He is the first director of the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office to visit Taiwan.
During his visit from June 25 to 28, Zhang is scheduled to meet Taiwan's mainland affairs chief Wang Yu-chi. This will be the second meeting between the two officials this year. Wang visited the mainland in February.
Zhang is scheduled to visit New Taipei City, Taichung, Kaohsiung and meet the mayors of the three cities. He is also expected to visit Changhua County.
