3-yuan note showed up in public
The image of a RMB note with a 3-yuan face value has been shared on WeChat, China's popular micro-blogging platform, sparking interest from Internet users who doubted its existence, chinataiwan.org reported on Thursday.
According to the report, People's Bank of China did issue 3-yuan notes in the second RMB series in 1955, the only 3-yuan note China has ever issued. It is highly valued by collectors and has been out of circulation for some time.
