China's oldest married couple

Ping Muhu, 109 years old, and his wife Zhang Xinniu, 108 years old, are the oldest surviving couple in China.
The couple, both in good health, live in Quanliu village, Yuzhou city in Central China's Henan province, with three sons and three daughters.
The husband is deaf, introvert and doesn't speak much, but the wife is extrovert, has a good memory and likes talking to people.
Their eldest son attributed their longevity to disciplined life and vegan diet.
