Ling Jihua removed from CPPCC leadership list

BEIJING - Ling Jihua has been removed from the post of vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, according to a CPPCC meeting Saturday.
Ling was also stripped of the membership to the CPPCC, the country's top political advisory body.
Ling has been investigated for "suspected serious disciplinary violation."
