Six teenagers drown in northeast China

Six teenagers drowned in a muddy puddle in a northeast China county on Sunday, local authorities said.
The tragedy took place near Shihuiyaozi Village in Jianchang County, Liaoning province, where eight teenagers decided to take an "open-air" bath in a puddle, according to the local publicity department.
Of the eight children, two managed to escape and alarmed local villagers. As of 7:50 pm, rescuers have pulled out all six bodies, the department said.
