"Traditional culture should be added to primary school textbooks to replace the 'morality and life' model. I'm told that the current primary school textbooks were compiled back in 2002 and that the content is rigid and unappealing to students, I’ll continue making this proposal until it gets passed. I insist on it," Jiang reiterated, saying that traditional culture needs to be a compulsory part of the curriculum.
