Displayed paintings celebrate the artistic strength of Henri Matisse, Paul Signac, Rene Magritte and Francis Picabia.
Belgian surrealist master Rene Magritte applied in his gouache painting with collages, L'useage de la parole (the usage of the world), a number of iconic elements and objects, including the signature image of a hatted man.

French avant-garde painter Francis Picabia used mechanical forms to evoke sensational associations of a female body in his oil painting on cardboard, Le Ventilateur (the fan).
The paintings will be displayed at Sotheby's gallery at One Pacific Place. They will go under the hammer at a sale on Feb 3 in London.
