China generated 1.07 trillion kilowatt hours of electricity from clean energy resources in 2012, accounting for 21.4 percent of the country's total electricity output, the State Electricity Regulatory Commission said on Tuesday. Electricity generated from clean energy resources in China rose 28.5 percent year-on-year as the country moved to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.
