460,000 Train tickets
An average 460,000 train tickets have been returned every day from Saturday to Monday, the first three days of the Spring Festival travel peak, which is much higher than 250,000, the number of returned tickets a day during the Spring Festival travel peak in 2012, according to the Ministry of Railways. The ministry said the reason is that days of advance booking have been prolonged from 12 days to 20 days since Jan 4.
